OUR CHEMISTRY
NEAT formulas are based on TAML Chemistry, a revolutionary form of chemistry that mimics the catalytic activity of natural enzymes. TAML catalysts consist of a macrocyclic ligand that surrounds a central metal ion. The ligand provides a reactive environment for the metal ion to catalyze the oxidation process, while also stabilizing the metal ion and preventing it from being deactivated. NEAT’s formulas are highly flexible across systems and environmentally friendly, minimizing the need for auxiliary chemicals and high energy inputs.
Flexible Product Form
NEAT formulas are flexible and can “bolt on” to many oxidation systems without proprietary equipment. In its raw form, NEAT catalysts are crystalline structures and can be delivered for both dry form dosing, or pre-suspended in liquid solution. Regardless of form, NEAT formulas are highly stable and can be stored for long periods of time.
Wide Operable pH Range
NEAT formulas can effectively operate across in a wide pH range of 6-12, reducing the need for acids or caustics to manipulate pH levels, thereby lowering both chemical cost and material waste.
Flexible System Integrations
NEAT formulas can enhance a wide range of aqueous oxidation processes including peroxide, hypochlorite, ozone, and electrochemical systems. This includes industrial processes and wastewater systems. We are engaged in a number of pilot programs to study additional Neat systems integrations.
Simple Installation & Dosing
NEAT formulas require no specialized equipment. While every use case is unique, dosing can be done with a simple “off the shelf” pump skid or existing infrastructure.

10,000 Turnovers
When paired with NEAT formulas, oxidation systems are dramatically improved. Every Neat molecule can oxidize up to 10,000 molecules of the target compound. This exponentially improves system intensity at very low Neat doses.
