Hydrogen Peroxide + NEAT

A Wide Range of Water Intensive Uses

Hydrogen peroxide AOPs are used in many industries not only for treating aqueous contaminants, but also for water-intensive processes. Adding NEAT to the treatment trains of both of these systems can reduce use of harsh chemicals, reduce energy costs, enable water re-use, and more efficiently remove target compounds.

Watch Video Demo: Accelerating Dye Removal

NEAT has proven highly effective at intensifying oxidation reactions in hydrogen peroxide for accelerating textile dye removal. Watch this video demonstration to see NEAT in action.

Purifying Wastewater of Micropolutants with Hydrogen Peroxide + NEAT

Research completed at a secondary wastewater facility in Tucson, Arizona (USA) has shown that when TAML catalysts are used in hydrogen peroxide systems, micropollutants are removed at a greater rate, rivaling the results of Ozone purification.

Destroying Schedule II Drugs with Hydrogen Peroxide + NEAT

NEAT can be used to enhance the oxidation reactions of a hydrogen peroxide system to remove compounds like oxycodone, hydrocodone, morphine, and testosterone. A third-party study demonstrated that this outperformed activated carbon removal, and results were achieved in 1/12th the time.

Other Water-Intensive Applications

We are currently exploring other hydrogen peroxide based industrial applications that can benefit from NEAT. Water intensive processes like pulp and paper bleaching - where the industry is currently seeking solutions to improve whitening of recycled materials - has shown potential with lab testing. Similarly, low temperature textile bleaching can benefit from adding NEAT to their treatment trains to reduce harsh chemical use, reduce energy demand, and return higher fiber yields.
